A Credit Analyst independently performs a variety of duties for the Credit Administration department. The role includes assisting with the loan process by inputting and analyzing financial information of businesses and individuals to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money; conducting credit investigations; and working collaboratively with and making discretionary recommendations and suggestions to Relationship teams and Senior Management.

Location: This position is full time in our Walnut Creek office.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000      

Essential Functions

  • Analyze credit and financial information (e.g., credit reports, tax returns, financial statements, etc.) to determine levels of credit risk involved in lending money to commercial customers,
  • Enter financial figures into appropriate programs to generate ratios, examine data to assist in determining credit worthiness of applicants, and/or assist in the assessment of compliance with loan terms and/or changes in the credit risk profile of an existing Borrower.
  • Review accounts receivable/payable agings, and at times inventory reports, to ensure Borrower remains within their Borrowing limits (Formula-Based Revolving Line of Credit Borrowers).
  • Ensure financial covenant compliance ratios are accurately entered in the system.
  • Reconcile, calculate and interpret ratios, comparative, trend and market analysis, accurate cash flow analysis, and stress-testing,
  • Identify client issues and make discretionary problem-solving decisions to meet those credit needs working independently with Relationship teams,
  • Mentor less experienced staff and assist with their development,
  • Understand and comply with credit policy and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent related experience;
  • Banking experience preferred but not required.

The Banking Services Officer (BSO) will work under the direction of the Enterprise Process Manager, learning to assist with the servicing of a loan and deposit portfolio. The Banking Service Officer (BSO) will gain an understanding of comprehensive Commercial Banking relationships, which may include both depository and credit components. 

Location: This position is full time in our Walnut Creek office.

Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000

Essential Functions

  • Provide consistent client service, facilitating and directing various client requests, both written and verbal, including but not limited to account inquiries, account transactions and wires with the ability to discern potential risks to client deposit activity.
  • Preparation of deposit, loan, and cash management documentation.
  • Coordinate loan closings with appropriate personnel, including interfacing with title companies.
  • Complete assigned paperwork and reports for management and Relationship Managers.  Complete records and reports promptly and accurately.  Monitor files to assure completeness, including appropriate approvals, as required.
  • Maintain client files including updating financial reporting tracking system, requesting required client financial information, as well as collateral, insurance and entity verification documentation.

  • Participate in meetings with clients to establish and/or install Cash Management products and services while providing support to Cash Management clients as needed.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years office experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year commercial loan servicing experience.
  • Ability to commute to office and client locations.
  • Basic word processing and computer database skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Bank approved systems used in tracking customer accounts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone.

The VP, Loan Servicing Manager will oversee implementation, monitor performance of all Note Department functions, including loan documentation, billing and accounts receivables, boarding and funding of loans, in accordance with loan policy. This individual is responsible for supporting the team with resolution of complex loan related issues.  The VP will serve as a secondary point person to respond to audit requirements.  On occasion, the role requires oversight of department of projects.

The VP, Project Manager serves as a primary liaison between the CBC business units (credit, branch and deposit operations, finance, sales, etc.) to manage the CBC project portfolio and provide regular status updates to all impacted groups.  

The position will be based out of our Walnut Creek office.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000

  • Manage projects that are brought forward as a result of independent business analysis efforts, and other projects as assigned.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues and manage vendor relationships as well as dependencies with internal development teams and other impacted stakeholder groups.
  • Define project scope, requirements, project governance, design, testing, timeline, and budget.
  • Analyze needs, discover challenges, and exercise discretionary judgment in exposing opportunities to determine potential solutions or efficiencies that can be implemented in areas of: automation, reporting, workflow, etc.
