VP / Business Analyst
Job description
Serve as a primary liaison between Operations, Information Technology and individual business units of the Bank (credit, branch and deposit operations, finance, sales, etc.). Responsible for working with other Bank departments to analyze needs, discover challenges, and expose opportunities to determine potential solutions or efficiencies that can be implemented.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze needs, discover challenges, and exercise discretionary judgment in exposing opportunities to determine potential solutions or efficiencies that can be implemented in areas of: automation, reporting, workflow, etc.
Responsible for the management projects that are brought forward as a result of independent business analysis efforts, and any other projects that are assigned.
Analyze current business processes, exercise discretion in recommending improvements, and participate in design of new systems.
Conduct business systems analysis and design, data modeling, processing flow modeling, and process reengineering.
Develop reports and documents for existing business processes and business rules.
Responsible for designing and executing systems tests; resolve system issues and problems.
Train users in new procedures and systems.
Identify and develop reporting requirements; identify data; interface and test requirements; develop and execute systems and acceptance test scripts and procedures.
Prepare business cases including cost/benefit analysis for proposed processes.
Provide post-implementation support.
Provide report development support to business units.
Provide key reports on a daily basis.
Maintain logs or other documentation on key processes.
Implement, analyze, and audit current processes; develop new processes.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as backup in data analysis and reporting, etc. on an as needed basis.
PROFICIENCIES
Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone.
Accurate word processing and computer database skills; with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Computer Science, or equivalent related experience.
Four (4) years of experience.
Must be bondable.
