The Loan Boarding Specialist is a critical member of the Loan Servicing Department. This position is responsible for technical knowledge, proficiency and productivity in the Loan Servicing Department ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed and service standards are achieved. Loan Boarding Specialist is responsible for accurately boarding the loans, wire processing, performing call backs, and loan funding.

This position will be based out of our Oakland office with flexible scheduling. 

Essential Functions

  • Input/board loans to the DNA loan accounting system and perform callbacks
  • Prepare loan funding, wire processing, and prepare pre-boarding documents.
  • Maintain loan documentation files; index files into nCino or the electronic file system
  • Review executed loan and legal documents and identify missing documents; tickler maintenance and follow-up.
  • Provided proactive support to lenders, departments and branch staff; capable of backing up and supporting all aspects of the department

Education and Experience

  • Loan Servicing Specialist – two (2) years relevant boarding work experience in a bank loan servicing environment.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Adobe.
  • Must possess a valid California state driver’s license.
  • Must be bondable.
