At California Bank of Commerce, our team is committed to actively supporting the regions where we live and work, and to providing resources to our communities in an effort to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to succeed and thrive. The CBC Charitable Foundation provides CBC colleagues, as well as clients and friends of the bank, with a formal organization for our community giving efforts. The CBC Charitable Foundation’s mission is to assist nonprofit organizations that promote economic growth and foster quality of life for all.
Our Area of Focus
Our philanthropic contributions are focused on supporting organizations that care for our communities in four key areas:
Youth | Education | Economic Development | Social Services |
Our Philosophy
The CBC Charitable Foundation is a private grant‐making foundation funded by California Bank of Commerce and its employees. We empower our bankers to give back to the communities where we serve by nominating the nonprofit organizations they care deeply about for a grant. Each grant application is reviewed by our CBC Charitable Foundation Board. We do not accept outside proposals at this time.
